Our Inaugural Leaf Community Impact Project with The Bronx is Blooming

At Leaf, we believe in our responsibility to contribute to positive changes in our communities. We care deeply about the work we do to eliminate unnecessary CO2 emissions in the transportation industry. It’s also important to us that we contribute to our communities where we live.

As part of our commitment to improving our communities, we recently implemented a Volunteer Policy. Through the new policy, Leaf employees are encouraged to dedicate two business days per year to volunteering and compensated for their time.

Our inaugural Leaf Community Impact Month was held in June and took us to the Bronx in New York. We partnered with The Bronx is Blooming for a morning of park revitalization. A group of Leaf employees spent their time protecting, mulching and pruning young trees in Crotona Park. This effort will contribute to a denser, healthier tree canopy for generations to come. We learned that these trees give back by filtering pollutants, lowering summer temperatures, and breathing life into the community.

We look forward to partnering with more organizations in our local communities in future Community Impact projects.
